1. About Danang city

Danang City, known as "the most livable in Vietnam", is located in the central region, evenly dividing the distance between Hanoi, Vietnam Capital, and Ho Chi Minh City. Danang is also the center of three world cultural heritages, namely Hue Ancient Capital, Hoi An Ancient Town and My Son Sanctuary. Danang borders Thua Thien - Hue province to the North, Quang Nam province to the West and South, and the East Sea to the east. You can go to Danang by plane, train, car or motorbike. 2. How to rent a motorbike in Danang?

First, you need to have a driving license to be able to rent a motorbike in Danang. Currently, Vietnam accepts international driving licenses, so remember to convert your license before you leave. You also need your passport when renting a motorbike. In addition, most motorbike rentalin Danang will ask you for a deposit which ranges from 500,000 VND to 1,000,000 VND, so you should prepare this amount in advance.

How to get to this place?

Hoa Phu Thanh Park is located at Km20, National Highway 14G, Hoa Phu Commune, Hoa Vang District, Danang City. From the city center, you ride in the direction of September 2 – August Revolution streets, then come to the Hoa Cam overpass. From there, continue from 4-5 km to meet Tuy Loan Street and you will immediately see the road sign of the tourist area. After that, follow the signposts through Ngam Doi and Suoi Hoa tourist areas to Hoa Phu Thanh. Travel time takes about 45-60 minutes.

3.2. Linh Ung Pagoda

Linh Ung Pagoda is a temple with an area of about 20 hectares and includes many other complexes in it. The temple was built with extremely sophisticated architecture. The main hall features a dragon-shaped roof, surrounded by sturdy pillars. The statues in the temple are carved extremely intricately.

This place has the tallest statue of Quan The Am in Vietnam. Visitors will be surprised with the statue up to 67m high - equivalent to a 30-storey building. The statue faces the sea, holding a pitcher of nectar in one hand, and holding the Samadhi seal in the other. Inside the statue, there are 17 floors, and each floor has 21 Buddha statues. Moreover, Quan The Am statue standing on a giant lotus platform creates a majestic and sacred atmosphere for Linh Ung Pagoda.

Visiting Linh Ung Pagoda, you will be immersed in a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. This temple is located in a prime location: the front faces the vast sea, while its back leaning against the primaeval forest and majestic cliffs. Standing from the pagoda, you can enjoy the full stunning view of the mountains, the sky, the sea and the beautiful Danang City.

How to get to this place?

You just ride motormotorbike along the Vo Van Kiet Street, turn left to Vo Nguyen Giap and go straight to Hoang Sa Street. Then, continue straight along Hoang Sa Street and you will see Linh Ung Pagoda on the left side.

3.3. Ban Co Peak

From an altitude of more than 700m above sea level, the top of Ban Co Peak is indeed an ideal location to have a panoramic view of Danang. You can capture the whole of nature at eye level. The scenery here is transcendently impressive, the sky is vast, and the clouds come into sight. Ban Co Peak is a place that evokes a little nostalgic feeling and modern life.

The way to the top of the Peak is quite steep, and some bends seem to hug the cliff, so you should not travel at high speed. Crossing the steep pass to reach the top will give you many adventurous experiences.

How to get to this place?

There are two ways to go to Ban Co Peak. The first one is to go to Linh Ung Pagoda and then cross the slope to the top of the Peak. By going this way, you can conveniently visit Linh Ung Pagoda. The second one is from Yet Kieu Street and then turn towards the People's Army Barracks of Naval Region 3. This is the option most people use to save time.

3.4. Hai Van Pass

Hai Van Pass( Cloud pass) is 20km from Danang City. The pass is located on a mountain branch that runs into the sea of the Bach Ma Mountain range, connecting Thua Thien Hue province and Danang City. The pass is 500m high above sea level and about 20km long. So, can you see the challenge, right? The road of Hai Van Pass is curvy and zigzag like a challenge to backpackers. Those who are adventurous will be extremely excited by this road, with one side being majestic mountains, and the other being the cool blue sea, forming a magnificent picture of nature.

The name "Hai Van" is given by people because it has beautiful scenery, year-round white clouds covering the top of the pass, and at the foot of the pass is a vast seascape stretching to the horizon.

When we reach the top of the pass, we catch sight of the natural scenery that will surprise everyone. Behold the Bach Ma Mountain range overlapping with beautiful clouds, there is the North-South train line, then the blue-green sea waves reach the horizon. What is more amazing? How to ride to this place?

You ride motormotorbike from the city center to find the way to the coastal Nguyen Tat Thanh route. Here, you go about 5km, then turn right onto Nguyen Luong Bang Street, cross Nam O Bridge, and then turn left on Ta Quang Buu Street. You go 700m more, turn right on 7th Street, before going straight to Hai Van Pass.

3.5. Thousands Year Banyan Tree

The great banyan tree of Son Tra - Danang is a thousand-year-old banyan tree. Therefore, the Son Tra peninsula's banyan tree has been classified into the heritage banyan tree system of Vietnam, and this is also the first ancient banyan tree of Danang City.

Located in sub-zone 63, belonging to Son Tra nature reserve, the great banyan tree along with countless other banyan trees has created a very rich banyan population. In particular, this banyan tree is beautiful, with many auxiliary roots deep in the ground, creating vivid scenes. The tree has a trunk circumference of up to 10m, all 26 auxiliary roots penetrate deep into the ground, and each root is about 25m long, acting as a support to help the tree become more and more stable. All create a majestic and rare landscape.

If you come here and see the "system" of the Thousands Year Banyan Tree with your own eyes, you will understand why it is so enduring and so loved. You just need to follow the Hoang Sa coastal route, ride to the intersection of Nga Ba Bai Bac, then you will see a small path leading to the Thousands Year Banyan Tree.

3.6. Marble Mountains & Hoi An Ancient Town

Located on the route Danang - Hoi An, Ngu Hanh Son or Marble Mountains is a complex of 5 limestone mountains jutting out on the coastal sand: Kim Son, Moc Son, Thuy Son, Hoa Son and Tho Son. Marble Mountains has a majestic landscape with ancient mossy rocks and many unique cultural and historical architectural works.

Among the 5 mountains, Thuy Son is the most beautiful and largest mountain chosen by many tourists to visit and explore. To reach the top of the mountain, you can choose to climb more than a hundred steps or to take the elevator with a transparent glass chamber for a two-way ticket of 30,000 VND. Coming here, you can not only admire the beautiful panorama of Danang City from above but also visit many beautiful temples and caves.

Huyen Khong Cave possesses the most beautiful scenery among the caves in the Marble Mountains. The cave has a very unique and impressive structure with circular arches leading to the outside, so it is always full of light. Located on the North bank of the Thu Bon River, Hoi An is an ancient town in Quang Nam, about 30km from Danang, equivalent to a 40 or 50-minute ride. Hoi An is a heritage region with nostalgic and dreamy beauty recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage. Therefore, this is a place with a lot of scenic spots and countless beautiful check-in corners that are worth exploring and experiencing.

Coming to Hoi An, you can visit rows of ancient saffron-coloured houses, the river shimmering with lanterns at night, or delicious dishes at affordable prices. In addition, the most prominent monuments in the old town are the Chua Cau Temple Bridge, the Assembly Halls of Fujian, Chaozhou, Hainan, Cantonese, the ancient houses of Tan Ky, Quan Thang, Duc An, Phung Hung, etc.

How to ride to this place?

You can follow 2 roads to get to the Marble Mountains: Vo Nguyen Giap - Truong Sa - Non Nuoc or Le Van Hien - Non Nuoc. Travel time by motorbike is about 15 minutes. As for Hoi An, from the Marble Mountains, you can continue to follow Truong Sa road, go to Vo Nguyen Giap or Lac Long Quan, and then turn into Hoi An town. If you follow Le Van Hien Street, you can continue to follow the provincial road Danang - Hoi An, then enter Hoi An town.
