You can come here most of the year because the city is less prone to hurricanes. Visiting Danang from February to April or the end of the year will help you avoid crowded situations and save more costs because the price of hotel rooms or Danang air tickets is quite cheaper, compared to that in the peak period, which is from June to August.
First, you need to have a driving license to be able to rent a motorbike in Danang. Currently, Vietnam accepts international driving licenses, so remember to convert your license before you leave. You also need your passport when renting a motorbike. In addition, most motorbike rentalin Danang will ask you for a deposit which ranges from 500,000 VND to 1,000,000 VND, so you should prepare this amount in advance.
Some motorbike rental places do not require a deposit in advance, but be aware that the shops may only have Chinese motorbikes, or old and broken motorbikes of low value. Of course, you still need to mortgage some personal identification for them.
In Danang, motorbike rental prices range from about 80,000 VND to 160,000 VND, depending on new and old models, manual or automatic transmission motorbikes. When receiving a motorbike, you need to carefully check the exteriors, such as the rearview mirror, tire cover, throttle brake, lights, and horn, etc. and then check the engine. You should also clearly agree with the motorbike owner that if there is a problem, you will get back to change the motorbike or get a refund if there has a problem before.
Some hotels and homestays with motorbike rental services usually collect money after returning the motorbike and you do not have to pay a deposit.
Or, you can go to some motorbike rental shops that have delivery services, for example:
Motorbike - 03 Thich Thien Chieu, Tho Quang, Son Tra (0905909043), Duc Duy - 90 Hoang Bich Son, An Hai Bac, Son Tra (0907430343), Binh Minh - 36 Ta My Duat, Son Tra (0986862981), etc.
