We were not disappointed. Hoang took care of everything for us

Our group of 12 friends from Australia used the services of Hoang Dinh from AMA Journey in March 2026 for our Vietnam adventure.  We were not disappointed.
Hoang took care of everything for us.  Our transport from airports, accommodation in Ho Chi Minh, Hoi An, Hanoi and Mai Chau.

The highlight of the journey for me was a 5 day bus tour from Hanoi taking in Mai Chau, Pu Luong and Ninh Binh. Although the cities are fantastic and vibrant, no trip to Vietnam would be complete without a stay in an authentic village surrounded by rice fields and mountains.  Hoang arranged our homestay at the Tu Diep Homestay in the Mai Chau area. 

This was a fantastic experience where we were treated by our hosts Tu and Diep to incredible food and entertainment and both Tu and Hoang accompanied us on fantastic walks in the area where we got to witness Vietnamese village life and see the beautiful smiling faces of the villagers, farmers and children.  Being a photographer himself, Hoang took us to places with fantastic photo opportunies  where we could witness the true essence of Vietnam.

The bus driver Hoang used was a very safe driver and although some roads are narrow, he never took risks and we felt safe at all times.
My husband and I stayed in Vietnam longer than the rest of our group and Hoang also arranged for bus transport to Sapa, a overnight train ride back to Hanoi and a cruise in the Halong/Bai Tu Long Bay area.

Our group no longer think of Hoang as a tour guide but as a friend and we were already planning our next trip before we even left the country. He was extremely helpful, personable and spoke great English.
We cannot thank Hoang enough for everything he has done for us.  Until next time……..
