The Hanoi heritage sites tour program will bring you an impressive experience of Hanoi through the discovery of beautiful landscapes and historical sites that have made Hanoi famous. The program is private, so the schedule will be flexible and our tour guide is ready to modify it according to your requirements right on the tour.
Start the journey by exploring the imperial citadel of Thang Long, built in the 7th century in the Dinh - Tien Le period. Experiencing many ups and downs of history, now, Thang Long Imperial Citadel is a place that attracts many domestic and foreign tourists to admire and explore.
Then visit Ho Chi Minh memorial complex that included: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Presidential Palace, the house on stilts, the One Pillar pagoda.
Lunch will be served at a colonial style house restaurant before we head to the Temple of Literature, the first university of Vietnam thousand years ago, also a temple to worship Confucius.
Hoa Lo prison or also known as the Hanoi Hilton that should not be missed. A place built by French colonialists and later Northern Vietnam used it for US prisoners of war.
Long Bien bridge is a highlight of the trip. The hundred years old bridge crossing the Red river symbolizes historical Hanoi.
Back to the city center for a walking tour in the old quarter. Discover the local life and some delicious street foods to understand more about our culture. You will pick some street foods such as” bun cha”, “grilled meats”, local “salads” (Nom), or BAMI breads… Relax at a café shop with an egg coffee before ending the trip.

Hanoi is the cradle of many famous craft villages, today Ama Journey will take you to discover some craft villages around Hanoi in a 1 day tour.
At 8.00 am, our tour guide and driver will pick you up to visit Ha Thai lacquer village, 25 km south of Hanoi center. You will see the technique of polishing lacquer layers and combining them with eggshells and mother-of-pearl inlays to create beautiful paintings. In this craft village, you will be guided by artisans to create a lacquer painting by yourself as well as buying a favorite souvenir to bring home.
The next is a famous village in some awarded photography. Quang Phu Cau incense village. Here, you will find the bustling atmosphere of the locals in the workshops of making incense sticks, from dyeing to drying. The bright red incense sticks are the ideal place for photographers.
Keep traveling to Chuong conical hat village. Visiting the local market and a temple by the market. Meet Mrs Thao - an artisan to admire her products and her skill to create a traditional conical hat of Vietnam. Of course, you will have a short course to learn how to make a conical hat and practice your own.
An intimate lunch will be served by her family.
After lunch, take a short break, drink Vietnamese tea or sugarcane juice, relax before taking a walk to discover this charming village.
Back to the car for a transfer to Van Phuc Silk Village. This is the final destination for a Hanoi handicraft village tour. This is an old silk weaving village in Hanoi, you have a chance to witness step by step of silk weaving, from silkworm cocoons, silk, dyeing and weaving. Don't forget to buy yourself a scarf or silk shirt.
Return to your hotel in the late afternoon.

Starting from Hanoi city. At 8.00 our AMA Journey’s tour guide and driver will meet you at your hotel to depart to Mai Chau.
On the way, stop at Thung Khe pass to admire the spectacular view of the valley with rice fields and villages before arriving in Mai Chau at noon time.
Only 150 km away from Hanoi, Mai Chau valley is an unmissable place to relax and visit the local White Thai ethnic, discover their culture, daily life and beautiful landscapes.
Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local family in the village. Take a short break before strolling around the Lac, Na Pon, Poong Com village with peaceful traditional stilts houses next to each other without any fence.
Bikes are available to explore from the villages to villages, seeing rural work on the rice fields, encountering local people and visiting the weaving craftsman’s family.
Return to the accommodation in the afternoon. Having hot shower before enjoying a cozy dinner in a comfortable peaceful atmosphere that could not be described in words

Breakfast at your accommodation, transfer to discover the local Mai Chau market, seeing the locals trading their goods.  
The next will be an amazing Hang Chieu (Chieu Cave). Enjoy climbing 1200 steps to the entrance gate of the cave that will offer the best breathtaking panoramic view of the valley and village with rice fields.
From the entrance to the first part of the cave is about 16m and it is also called the main cave with a length of about 50m, a width of 35m, the height of the cave is up to 55m. When you go deeper inside the cave, you will see all the beauty of this place, it will help you to create the imagination of many shapes.
Later, walk down and transfer back to the village for lunch and relaxation before driving to Ninh Binh.

After breakfast at your hotel, start to visit Bai Dinh pagoda. This is one of the most impressive and biggest pagodas in southeast Asia, a Buddhism center in Vietnam.
Walking along the 500 stone Arhats statues lead to the main pagoda. Discover the 13 storey tower by a lift to enjoy the panoramic view.
Travel to Trang An area for lunch and relaxing before a sampan rowing boat trip on the clear water of the stream where you can see the bottom or many fishes. Rowing through the grottoes, some of them are 100 – 200-meter long that really bring you an impression.
On the boat trip, we will stop and get off the boat to discover some pagodas and temples which were built to worship the Tran dynasty’s mandarins.
After a 2-hour boat trip. Return to the Trang An pier and return to your hotel.

At 8.00, after breakfast at your hotel, our driver will pick you up and transfer you through the red river delta to one of the most famous world heritage sites in Vietnam: Halong Bay, where you will board a charming and full-equipped cabin for a 2-day overnight cruise.
Arrive at Halong pier, the cruise welcomes you on board, check in the cruise.
Enjoy a sumptuous lunch on cruise while admiring the limestone karsts and tropical islets rising up from the emerald waters of the bay.
Exploring Sung Sot cave (Surprising save), which is the largest natural cave in Halong Bay with mesmerizing stalactites and stalagmites. Formed millions of years ago.
Some activities such as swimming, kayaking, climbing Titov mountain will be included in the program offering a memorable journey experience.
In the evening, enjoy dinner on board with a romantic atmosphere around.

Enjoy an early morning to catch the sunrise over the thousand limestone in the middle of crystal emerald water creating a marvelous scene.
A breakfast is served on cruise. Take a relaxation while the cruise passes some islets such as: man head, tortoise rocks… named by distinctive shapes.
Brunch is ready before checking out the cruise and disembarking the pier.

Hoi An is located in central Vietnam. It is about 30 km from Danang airport to the south. Hoi An is a small ancient town by the coast and estuary, so it was the busiest trading place in the 15th to 19th centuries. Today, Hoi An has become an indispensable destination in the Vietnam tour itinerary list.
At 8.00 am, pick up at your hotel and enjoy a full day tour to explore this charming cozy town. The first attraction is Cam Pho, an ancient communal house. This is a non-touristic destination. An ancient and beautiful temple with pure Vietnamese character and well preserved to this day.
Enjoy a leisure walk to the symbol of Hoi An: Chua Cau (Japanese bridge) that allows the Japanese quarter to access the Chinese quarter of the town. This temple bridge was well preserved in its original style for mostly 400 years.
Continue the walking tour in Hoi An Ancient Town to visit Quan Thang ancient house, which is more than 150 years old. The house is still quite intact in terms of architectural design and interior decoration. The entire architecture and wood carvings are very lively and delicate, made by artisans of Kim Bong carpentry village, Hoi An.
Followed by a visiting Phuc Kien or Fujian Assembly Hall built from the 17th century. This is the religious site to honor deity Thien Hau. Admiring its ornate gates surrounding. And beautiful carved dragons in the main room.
The next visit to the Precious Heritage museum - located in Hoi An Old Town, is home to the permanent exhibition of Réhahn’s Precious Heritage Collection. will bring to you a discovery of striking portraits, stories, and heirlooms that can’t be found anywhere else in the world. Both a celebration and a call for conservation.
In the late afternoon, explore the local Hoi An center market, this is the best way to see the local life. The market is on the bank of the river, with a lot of stalls where you can easily find a variety of foods, fresh fruits, vegetables, fishes, meats…that is worth a full day tour exploring this charming ancient town.

After your breakfast at your hotel, meet our tour guide and driver for a 4-hour transfer to Hue – the Royal city in the center of Vietnam. On the way, stop to visit Marble mountain, My Khe beach in Danang.
Drive to Hai Van pass to enjoy the great panoramic view to the sea and Lang Co beach.
Arrive in Hue in the afternoon, check in your hotel and discover the city by a boat trip along the Huong River to Thien Mu pagoda – a symbol of Hue city.
Later, transfer to Dong Ba local market to observe the local life and a chance to enjoy a Bun Bo Hue (Hue beef noodle) at a very famous local restaurant which was visited by Anthony Bourdain – the American chef and TV producer.

The first stop is the Royal Citadel. Our tour guide will tell you the historical events of this former royal court. This citadel city is composed of three parts: Kinh Thanh (the Capital city), Hoang Thanh (the Imperial city) and Cam Thanh (the Forbidden City).
In the afternoon, explore Khai Dinh royal tomb that has the combination of Vietnamese and Europe’s architecture style. The next will be Tu Duc royal tomb which has a lake, pavilion and palaces, a great beautiful place to visit and discover.
Transfer to airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh city.
On arrival, get a pick up to your hotel in the city center.

After your breakfast at your hotel, meet our tour guide and driver for a trip to Cu Chi tunnel. This area is well-known for its underground networks that provide shelter and  an effective place of infiltration for Vietcong during the Vietnam war.
After a 1.5 hour drive, arrive in Cu Chi. The first stop is in the model room to watch an introduction video about Cu Chi tunnel and understand more about the tunnel system by scale model explanation.
Then you will move to explore the battleground, the hidden network of Vietnam that is believed to stretch hundred miles in total length with housed living, makeshift hospitals, kitchens, storage rooms...Some original parts were very narrow and have been widened for tourists to have the opportunity to explore this amazing system. After Cu Chi experience, return to Ho Chi Minh city.
Explore the Reunification Palace and then move to visit the War Remnant Museum that allows you for an insightful look into the history of Vietnam war that may bring you a big surprise than you used to know or hear about it. 
Continuing on the trip to visit Ben Thanh market - the biggest vibrant market in Ho Chi Minh city for exploring the locals and their daily business life. You may find some interesting souvenirs.
Return to your hotel in the later afternoon and overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Meet our tour guide and driver at your hotel for a transfer and explore the Mekong delta.
Arrive in Cai Be around 10.30. Take a motor boat trip to visit the Cai Be floating market. Then enjoy a rowing boat trip taking you deeper into the winding narrow canals that will offer a really refreshing and peaceful time.
Back to the motor boat to cross the longest river in the world - Mekong River and arrive at An Binh ait ( An Binh means peace and happiness). Travel along a canal to Ut Trinh home. A sumptuous lunch with local specialities will be served at this home.
After lunch, walk around the orchard, enjoy fruits and relax with some cups of tea while listening to the traditional southern amateur music in the ancient house.
Explore the local village with some handcrafts to see how they make rice paper, Coconut candy, pop rice...
Biking is available for further exploration of this amazing area such as school, pagoda, church, orchard, traditional houses...
Visit the brick kilns to see how local people make beautiful pottery products from clay.
The cruise will end in Vinh Long city, take our car and transfer to Can Tho.

Take a boat trip in the early morning with our tour guide to explore. Cai Rang market -  the largest floating wholesale market in the Mekong region.
Your boat will glide among the hundreds of small vendor boats which are selling their goods. Get closer to see how local people trade their fruits and vegetables, and understand more about their floating marketing culture and life on the water.
And a really delicious local breakfast ( rice noodle) will be served on the boat. Then, we will stop at a vendor boat to enjoy the seasonal fruits like the way local people do.
The boat trip will take you along the canals and visit the fruit garden or we can visit the traditional homemade rice noodle factory to see how the rice noodle is made. Back to the pier, transfer to visit a beautiful Binh Thuy ancient house where the "The Lover" movie was filmed.
Transfer back to Ho Chi Minh city in the afternoon.
