We just completed a 13 day, multi city adventure with AMA. Each day was filled with activity, fun, learning and making memories. Hoang did not forget one detail in making our vacation magical!  

After researching many tour operator options, I chose AMA Journey, because Hoang listened to my "wants" in planning a visit to North and Central Vietnam. This trip was an anniversary gift to my husband, and I explained to Hoang that I wanted to visit Hanoi, Halong Bay, Hue, and Hoi An. I expressed that I wanted a private tour- driver and English speaking guide, safe and comfy vehicle, and wished for the itinerary to have a good balance of activity as well as firsthand local cultural experience with nice quality hotels.

Hoang provided us with the cities that were most important and included Ninh Binh which we loved. He scheduled biking, a visit to a homestay for outstanding lunch, superior 3 day halong bay cruise, kayaking, squid fishing, cooking class, a visit to the night market and so much more. The historical sights were colorful, and we learned so much from the personal guides.  We were met at the airport for transportation to our hotel.

Every hotel was comfortable, in a safe and perfect location for evening activities (jazz club, spa, good restaurants, rooftop bars) and included a divine breakfast. Hoang even had hotels recognize us for our special occasion.  I can't recommend this Tour Operator enough.  We truly had the very best trip ever. His prices are very affordable for all that is included.

I have visited Vietnam with Ama Journey Asia. The trip lasted two weeks and covered the northern, central and southern parts of the country.

We had two internal flights. In each part of the country, we had a guide from this region. They was waiting for us at the airport. The tour plan included the most important places in Vietnam.

Everything was perfectly organized. Ama Journey booked high-class hotels for us. Meals including local dishes were in very good restaurants. Whole trip was perfectly organized.

I recommend this travel agency if you want to spend a quiet and amazing holiday in Vietnam.

We had a 10 days tour that includes Hanoi, Hoi An, Hue and HCM (Mekong Delta). Hoang is a great Tour operator. I asked a lot of questions and he explained the details to ease my doubt. In the original itinerary there was a bike ride in Hoi An. Since my wife don't bike, Hoang changed it to a motorbike tour for her without additional charge. The tour guides are great. They know the local sightseeing spots well. Occasionally helped us to shop in market and recommended restaurants for dinner.

We had a later flight in HCM. Thach took us for a tour in China Town (not in the original itinerary) in the morning. He stayed with us until 2pm when the driver dropped us of at the airport.

Great tour guides and tour operator Hoang who took care of us very well.

The only thing is the hotel in HCM. The staff are great and helpful. But the room conditions are somehow below average. If I knew, I rather pay more to upgrade.

All in all it was a great trip. I was talking about the trip with my colleagues all morning during the first day of work.

My family of 14, with young & elderly, all loved the tour arranged by Ama Journey. Special mention, Mr Hoang, who liaised with me, planned the whole 9 days tour with me patiently over weeks. Accommodating to my special arrangement for the elderly, as well as answering to my unending questions. Appreciate Mr Hoang's patience & kindness greatly. He also initiated to help me when I faced hurdle in my air tic booking.

Also, to special mention the tour Guide whom Mr Hoang arranged for us.
A special thanks to Mr Jackie (Hao Le). He is the best Guide we ever had! He is patient, always punctual. What's more, he went extra miles to help us, esp the elderly. He will surely be there to make sure they get up & down the bus safely. He even offered to climb thousand steps with us! Just to ensure that we are safe.
If you want a tour guide, Jackie must be the one!

We researched many tours for Ba Be Lake and Ban Gioc waterfalls and decided to go with Ama Journey, because we liked their program. Most tours were 3 days, which seemed a bit rushed to us, but this one is 4 days.

Contact with Hoang was very smooth, his English is very good and he was willing to make a small adjustment in our tour. On the day of the tour Hoang and our tour guide showed up at the hotel. Hoang brought us a nice gift, we paid the balance and off we went on our tour.

First day we drove to Ba Be Lake and went for a bikeride to a cave.

Second day we spend most of our time on a boat on the lake and the river, visiting a pagoda and a waterfall. Scenery was beautiful.

Third day we went to the Ban Gioc waterfalls and the Pagoda. Again beautiful scenery. In the afternoon we visited the tiger cave.

Last day we worked our way back to Hanoi making several stops on the way in the Lang son area.

We were very satisfied with this tour. We liked the driver and our tour guide mr. Phong who took good care of us, was very knowledgable and as a bonus also a good photographer.

Thanks to Ama Journey I found a wonderful area in Hanoi for hotel, markets and the beautiful Hoan Kiem lake. I flew from Cam Ranh International Airport to Hanoi and followed up on the advice I got from Ama Journey. It worked out great.
The lake is a wonderful people watching destination. There is a sidewalk that goes completely around it and people walk and talk and taking photos daily.
This area has terrific hotels and the markets come alive a night.

We had a wonderful time on our tailored private tour of the beautiful countryside in Northern Vietnam. Hoang and the team were able to create a tour that fitted in with our budget and time, focusing on areas we wanted to explore and activities we really wanted to do.  Our tour took us to incredibly stunning Mai Chau, Phu Long, Ninh Binh and Ba Tu Long Bay (a much quieter but just as breathtaking as its sister Halong Bay) we went off the beaten track and saw many areas of Vietnam that the 'regular' tours do not take you to. Our accommodation was really great mostly in homestays where we were treated like part of the family, this included having some really special authentic meals prepared for us. Having never stayed in a home stay before I didn't know what to expect, I am so pleased we were able to have truly authentic experience.
I would highly recommend Ama Journey to book a tour in Vietman, they have so many different options available to choose from. Hoang was so professional and friendly and will definitely tailor a tour to meet your individual needs and budget!
We can't wait to come back to Vietnam again and explore more of this beautiful country!
