Easy 4-day Mai Chau, Pu Luong, Ninh Binh

Starting from Hanoi city. At 8.00 our Ama Journey’s tour guide and driver will meet you at your hotel to depart to Mai Chau.

On the way, stop at Thung Khe pass to admire the spectacular view of the valley with rice fields and villages before arriving in Mai Chau at noon time.

Only 150 km away from Hanoi, Mai Chau valley is an unmissable place to relax and visit the local White Thai ethnic, discover their culture, daily life and beautiful landscapes.

Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local family in the village. Take a short break before strolling around the Lac, Na Pon, Poong Com village with peaceful traditional stilts houses next to each other without any fence.

After visiting the Mai Chau valley, we will transfer  to your homestay in Mai Hich for relaxing

After breakfast, and enjoy a light trek to Mai Ha village for exploring the beauties of local people and landscapes
At noon, transfer back to Mai Hich, enjoy lunch and have a short relaxing. Later, in the afternoon, start walking around the Mai Hich village and to the rice field in the valley to learn more about rural life, take more photos of this peaceful area and friendly people.
In the late afternoon, our car will transfer you back to homestay.

Get up early to hear the sound of nature and breathe the fresh air. After breakfast, we will transfer to Pu Luong.
After 1 hour, reaching Pu Luong and enjoy the beautiful valley where you’ll walk around tumbling rice terraces. 

Trek through small paths shrouded in vegetation to slowly reveal a picturesque village sitting at the base of a towering mountain. Your camera will not be able to sit still!

Continuing to the base of the valley, weave between roads and farmland, villages and rice fields, ponds and rivers, mountains and open land. Savoir the ever-changing scenery as you trek to a beautiful spot and numerous chances to interact with the locals.

Lunch in Pu Luong and transfer to Ninh Binh.

After breakfast. Transfer to Hang Mua ( Mua cave). You will enjoy a hiking to the Ngoa Long mountain. Conquer 500 steps to reach the peak. That would be worth it for a great panorama view from the top.

Back to Tam Coc area to enjoy a Sampan boat trip along the Ngo Dong river which is a colorful rice field in the harvest season among Karst mountain ranges. The rowing boat will lead you to the gorgeous landscapes and throughout the 3 grottoes (Tam is three and Coc is grotto). Back to the pier after 1.5 – 2 hours in the rowing boat trip.

Have a lunch in Tam Coc.

Relax and Moving to Hoa Lu – the ancient capital of Vietnam in the 11th century. Discover the beauties and the histories of 2 king temples: Dinh King Temple and Le King temple.

Transfer back to Hanoi in the late afternoon.
