Moc Chau authentic experience

Moc Chau is a big plateau of Son La province, where is famous for poetic nature, big cow flocks are reared by giant, endless grass steppes and is the capital of famed ‘O Long’ tea.

7:00am depart from your hotel. We head to Northwest Vietnam. After 3 hours drive, gorgeous limestone mountains, stunning valleys and lush rice paddies start to appear on the two sides of the road. Lunch in local restaurant

After lunch we enter Moc Chau plateau and start a beautiful and leisurely mountainside road Tan Lap village. Visit a cow farm and you are welcomed to Mr. Hau family who is well-known for producing the most famous ‘O Long’ tea for years. Visit his tea plantation & enjoy a cup of ‘O Long’ tea.

Say good bye to Mr. Hau, we continue 20 km on a bumpy & scenic mountain road to Doi Village – a large and beautiful Thai village lying at the bottom of a limestone mountain. Warm welcomed by the host and join dinner with family.

After breakfast, you will leave Ban Doi for Phieng Canh, a H'Mong hamlet nested in a deep valley. From the main road, it takes about an hour to walk along a number of gorgeous corn fields to the village. The location is very scenic, and the dwellers are quite hospitable.

Lunch is in local restaurant before driving to stunning Mai Chau valley. Check-in the eco-lodge and have afternoon free to enjoy the beautiful scenic.

Our today tour will start right after your breakfast. Take another 8km scenic drive (bike option is available) to Mai Hich village. This village of Thai minority people lying in deep of the valley and is untouched by mass tourist.

Start 2 hour trek though the villages and rice paddies. Continue with fun 30’ bamboo rafting down stream and walk back to Mai Hich village. Warm welcomed to a local family and enjoy lunch cooked by the host.
After lunch, drive 4.5 hours back to Hanoi city.
