3 - day Mekong Delta Discovery

Meeting your tour guide and driver after your breakfast and transfer to Mekong which is famous for its vast rice fields, countless waterways and beautiful idyllic landscapes.

Arrive in Ben Tre town after a 2 hour drive, take a motorboat trip to explore the narrow channels among the coconut forest. On the boat trip, we will stop to visit some traditional handicraft villages such as brick village, weaving sleeping mats village to see their local life and how they do their products.

Take a leisure walk along the village path under the coconut's shade, visit the locals and taste the fresh fruits, honey tea .
Ben Tre is famous for Coconut Candy, you will visit the workshop that produces this delicacy of candy and other products that are skillfully handcrafted from coconut husk and fiber.
After that, take a sampan boat through the canals along the hidden waterways surrounded by an immense variety of tropical plants. The peaceful rural place is great for recovering from a busy life.

Lunch will be served with local specialities at the restaurant.
After lunch, enjoy the motor cart that will take you through the local hamlets, rice fields, coconut groves and orchard farms.
Return to the pier and transfer to Cai Be town.

Enjoy breaksfast and Check out Mekong Lodge. Enjoy an easy biking activity and ride through the peaceful village of Dong Hoa Hiep, renowned for its collection of beautifully preserved ancient houses. Visit the elegant Tuan Kiet Ancient House, considered one of the finest examples of traditional Southern Vietnamese architecture in the region.
Visit the local market and daily trading activities that have shaped life along the Mekong for generations.

Cross to Tan Phong Island and immerse yourself in the authentic countryside lifestyle. Along the way, visit local family workshops producing traditional rice-net cakes (Banh Re) and discover the craftsmanship of water hyacinth weaving. Watch skilled artisans transform this humble river plant into beautiful handbags, flower vases, and bracelets. 

Enjoy a visit to the lush orchards filled with tropical fruits. Stop at a local garden house to sample seasonal fruits while listening to traditional Southern folk music known as Don Ca Tai Tu, recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage.

Next, board a hand-rowed sampan and glide through narrow canals lined with coconut palms, offering a peaceful glimpse into the hidden waterways of Tan Phong Island.

Later, take our larger boat and cruise across the mighty Tien River to An Binh Island. Here, visit local cottage industries where generations of families continue producing puffed rice candy and traditional rice paper using age-old techniques.

The journey continues as the boat leisurely cruises along the Co Chien River, passing floating fish farms and riverside communities that depend on the Mekong's fertile waters for their livelihood.
Finally, arrive at Vinh Long Tourist Pier, meet our driver and transfer to Can Tho city.

Take a boat trip in the early morning with our tour guide to explore. Cai Rang market -  the largest floating wholesale market in the Mekong region.

Your boat will glide among the hundreds of small vendor boats which are selling their goods. Get closer to see how local people trade their fruits and vegetables, and understand more about their floating marketing culture and life on the water.

And a really delicious local breakfast ( rice noodle) will be served on the boat. Then, we will stop at a vendor boat to enjoy the seasonal fruits like the way local people do.
The boat trip will take you along the canals and visit the fruit garden or we can visit the traditional homemade rice noodle factory to see how the rice noodle is made. Back to the pier, transfer to visit a beautiful Binh Thuy ancient house where the "The Lover" movie was filmed.

Transfer back to Ho Chi Minh city in the afternoon.
Arrive at your hotel, check in and relax.
